I emailed the Ravinia crew to find out about parking because the web says that parking doesn't open until an hour before the gates open, so at 4pm. Since we have to go at 2pm, that won't work for us, ha, obviously. They said for us to gather just south of the West gate (there will be signs). But then the odd part was this- they wrote "the Meet 'n Greet is at 5:30pm during the soundcheck." Why are we going at 2pm then? How can soundcheck be that late, if the gates open at 5pm? Very puzzling, Either they are misinformed, or I'm missing something! Any ideas? :/
aj'slover I am right with you!!! I dont think it is childish but if it is oh well!!! Its been a dream of mine since forever to meet the guys I am so excited!!!!
@ricangirl025 I think metra stops in Ravinia Park at certain times... if not, then just get off the train one station before/after and walk over Green Bay Rd I dont think it will b so far and u will see signs anyway =)
does anyone one if the metra train runs to the ravinia early for the VIP, cause i only see that it starts in the evening. also, does anyone know any other way of getting there without driving?
Yay! I am so excited! Even though I couldn't afford VIP :( Never really met them before, but maybe I will have some luck and run into them somehow! Yeah, wishful thinking. Anyway, see u all there!!
So I think my freakin out is officially beginning right now. I know there are fans here that think its childish and what not but i don't care. I have been a fan for 14 years! I have been to every tour except Millennium and have never had the opportunity to meet them. Ive never got back stage or close enough to touch them. I am super excited..I feel like that lil 13 yr old in me is coming out..the gil that would cry when she saw them. I had a fan on here say it would be stupid..i dont care. I can't wait!! I finally get to meet them :)

We got a room at a hotel, so I was going to go to soundcheck, go check in at the hotel, grab a bite to eat at a restaurant there the hotel, and then head back to Ravinia. I figure there will probably be a 4 hour time gap between soundcheck and the concert- and I am not interested in seeing the opening act.
This is one of the BEST birthday gifts EVER! (though my birthday was yesterday, lol) Regardless, I might bring a small sigh staing it's my birthday.:P
