So the news is out! The Backstreet Boys are no longer signed to long time record label Jive Records. The amicable split is very exciting for the group. "This is the best thing, at the best time that could have ever happened for us”, says Brian Littrell. “We are confident in the future of our band, and are looking forward to the new things to come. 2011 is going to be a great year for us!”

Hey all you NYC fans! Are you sitting down??
The long-awaited NYC Fan Event is finally going to happen on Sunday, May 23rd at the Highland Ballroom in NYC!!! You heard it here first!
For those of you who attended the Napa Fan Event this month, this Fan Event is going to be the east coast equivalent of that show. There will be an intimate, acoustic performance from the guys, a Q&A, and last but not least, a M&G and photo taken.
This event will go on sale on Wednesday, May 5th at 10:00am PDT to PC Richards winners who won through the Fan Club AND to anyone who got refunded for Pinktober FIRST, for the first 24 hours. Then the onsale will open up to Fan Club members only on Thursday, May 6th at 10:00am PDT.
Tickets will be $199 which includes all of the above (performance, Q&A, M&G etc). This event is GA, but tables will be available on a first come first served basis.

Hey to all you Flash Mobbers!! We want to give a huge THANK YOU and shout out to those of you who worked so hard to organize the Flash Mob for us this past Saturday, April 17th. The results were truly REMARKABLE. A lot of time and effort goes into organizing something of this magnitude, and we want you to know how much we appreciate your hard work and amazing videos. So Kaportela & Dalessi_, Portugal, Caracas, Adriana Tebease, Milan, St. Petersburg (fancy editing going on there!), Amsterdam, Maracaibo (you guys literally stopped traffic!), Jakarta, Buenos Aires, Monterrey, Puebla (what a surprise when she came out of the suitcase!!), Barcelona, Taipei, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Cordoba, Madrid, Mexico City, Bulgaria, Frankfurt, Berlin, East Java, Rome, Switzerland, Cordoba, Peru, and of course Santiago and anybody else we missed, you guys are incredible.
